725 years Frankenhain

Frankenhain

From 19 to 21 June 2026, Frankenhain will be celebrating a very special anniversary: 725 years since our town was first mentioned in historical records! During this festive weekend, visitors can look forward to a varied programme packed with music, tradition, regional specialities and a sense of community.

It begins on Friday at 4.30 pm with the opening of the festivities. At 8.00 pm, an 80s/90s party with DJ Matze kicks off in the marquee. Also at 8.00 pm, the concert with Project Unplugged begins in the church (already sold out).

On Saturday, the festivities continue from 2.00 pm at the fairground with Club Day. At 8.00 pm, the Midsummer Dance Evening begins with the band “Troubled MELLOWdy”. We will then bring the dance evening to a close at 11.00 pm with a fireworks display.

The festivities conclude on Sunday with a festive service at 10.00 am in the church. This is followed by History Day at the fairground, featuring a classic car display, an arts and crafts market and a showcase of historical trades. From 11.30 am to 4.00 pm, “Grimmsteig-Alm-Musi” from Nieste will provide entertainment.
