Excavations will resume at BROMACKER between Georgenthal and Tambach-Dietharz in early summer 2026, from:

29 June to 17 July 2026

During this period, we will once again offer you the opportunity to watch the researchers at work in the quarry and gain a unique insight into the BROMACKER dinosaur site.

As usual, guided tours will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The dates are as follows:

Wednesday: 1 July 2026 | 8 July 2026 | 15 July 2026, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for English tours

Friday: 3 July 2026 | 10 July 2026, both at 10:00 a.m.

Saturday: 4 July 2026 | 11 July 2026, both at 10:00 a.m.

Sunday: 5 July 2026 | 12 July 2026, 10:00 a.m. each day
